Mapping DiClerin to fields on your website

DiClerin reads lab reports, prescriptions, discharge summaries, past history forms and vaccination records, and writes the values into the right fields on your website or EMR. No per-record field mapping is required — it detects inputs by label and proximity.

  1. 1

Open the widget on the client site

After installation, the DiClerin floating icon appears on your licensed website. Single-click the icon to expand the assistant panel.

  2. 2

Lock DiClerin to a section (optional)

Double-click the icon to enter placement mode. The page dims and hovering highlights a section; click to lock it in. The chosen section keeps a visible outline, the panel bar shows a “Locked: …” chip with Change and Unlock, and the floating icon carries a small lock mark so the state is obvious even with the panel closed. Press Esc to cancel.

  3. 3

    Upload the document

Drag a PDF or photo onto the panel or click to browse. DiClerin reads lab reports, prescriptions, discharge summaries and consultation notes, past history forms and vaccination records, and works out which one it is on its own. Watch the live status steps: upload → extraction → confidence scoring → field mapping. A chip above the review list names the type it detected; if the guess is wrong, pick the right type from the dropdown beside it and DiClerin reads the document again.

  4. 4

    Review extracted values

Each analyte appears with its value and a confidence score. Low-confidence rows are highlighted, and unmatched values are listed separately so nothing is silently dropped.

  5. 5

Choose the field for each value with your cursor

Every review row has a Field column. Click Choose field, then click the input on your page where that value belongs — the page highlights each field as you hover, and Esc cancels. DiClerin saves the choice to your DiClerin account against this website, so the same map is available to every user and device on the site.

  6. 6

Reuse and edit a saved map

The next report with a similar set of analytes automatically selects the saved map, and the Field column shows exactly where each value will go. Use Edit fields to re-pick or clear any remembered field, Rename to label the lab format, and Forget to delete the map.

  7. 7

Pull only the values you actually need

Star the analytes you enter routinely, or tick a set of rows and click “Use only the ticked ones”. Switch on “Only my fields” and the review list narrows to those values — “Show all results” peeks at the rest at any time. The list is saved with the field map for that website, so it applies automatically to the next similar report. Left off, every extracted value is shown as before.

  8. 8

Resize the panel to suit your screen

Drag the handle on the panel's bottom-left corner to set its width and height; the size is remembered for that website. “Reset size” in the panel bar returns it to the default.

  9. 9

    On a phone or tablet

Where your website carries the DiClerin line, the assistant works on phones and tablets too — no add-on to install. Tap the floating icon to open it: on a phone it rises as a full-width sheet you can drag up to full screen or down to close, with each result shown as its own card; on a tablet it stays a movable, resizable panel. Tap and hold the icon to choose the section to fill, then tap that part of the page. The sheet lifts above the on-screen keyboard while you edit values.

  10. 10

    Handle Other investigations

Results without a matching field can be appended to the Other investigations field. If no suitable field exists on the page, DiClerin warns you so you can add one before approving.

  11. 11

    Approve and fill

Tick the values you want to apply, then click the sticky Approve & fill fields button. A summary shows how many fields were filled and which values could not be mapped.

  12. 12

    Rollback if needed

If you approve and then notice a mistake, click Rollback last approval to revert the previous fill and try again.

  13. 13

    Optional date stamp

Toggle the sample-collection date stamp in the widget settings. It appears as a small translucent pill in the upper corner of filled fields and is never counted as part of the entered value.
